Baked Beef and/or Turkey Hearts: In a crock pot or dutch oven, bake with a ½ cup of water, ½ teaspoon of chopped garlic for 1 hr. with oven at 275° F. Cool on large sheet, slice thin. This provides great muscle meat and taurine (turkey) Great for baiting and reward treat.
Take one tube of the following: Turkey Organ, Beef Organ, Venison, Ostrich, Buffalo, or Kangaroo
Cut
just the corner of the bag off (this makes a pastry bag). On a stone or glass baking dish, squeeze out
teaspoon amounts, use a spoon to flatten slightly
Bake
at 275° for 45 min.
Pig
Ears: (utilizing the pork protein without feeding it raw), always use a no
nitrate-smoked ear. Place in a tall
plastic tub with water, for two hours this makes a natural raw hide without the
potential damage of sharp pieces that they could swallow. They will chew on this for hours. Benefits
include cartilage and some protein without feeding raw pork.
A
substitute for the stuffing type of toys- without the chemicals: Take any size marrow bone and scoop out the
marrow (you can save this for later meals), and replace with any Oma’s Mix of
your choice, place in the freezer…These are great for traveling and keep them
busy, and their jaw working
We
discourage using any type of cooked liver for continual use as treats or bait
as the liver is the ‘toxic waste’ dump for the body and not good if used
repeatedly for a long period of time
